Alarm Registration

East Whiteland Township Police encourages residents and businesses to register their alarm with the township.  Registering your alarm provides emergency responders with vital information for your home or business in the event of an alarm activation.  

Alarm Registration is a free program that requires just a few moments of your time to fill out a form and provide the police and fire department with information needed in case of an alarm activation or an emergency.   While there is no fee to register your alarm, there is a fee schedule for false alarms that coincide with local township ordinance.  Please see fee schedule below:

The East Whiteland Township Ordinance No. 64-80, “Automatic Protective Devices”, adopted on  December 8, 1980 by the East Whiteland Township Board of Supervisors, provides for the collection of false alarms

  • First false alarm per calendar year – No Charge.
  • Second false alarm per calendar year – Fifty ($50.00) dollars.
  • Third false alarm per calendar year – One Hundred ($100.00) dollars.
  • Fourth false alarm per calendar year – One Hundred Fifty ($150.00) dollars.
  • Fifth false alarm per calendar year – Two Hundred ($200.00) dollars.
  • Sixth false alarm per calendar year – Two Hundred Fifty ($250.00) dollars.
  • Seventh false alarm and each subsequent false alarm per calendar year – Three Hundred ($300.00) dollars.
