Our Township Parks and Fields are very busy especially during the warmer weather. Before completing a park permit application, please call Donna Iovine at the Township Office (610-648-0600 ext. 210) to check availability and coordinate a date.
East Whiteland takes pride in its numerous recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. Our park land facilities range from the natural woodlands of Ecology Park to the ball fields at the sports-oriented Battle of the Clouds. The Township also boasts several neighborhood parks including Birch Road, Down East and Spring Mill Farms parks.
East Whiteland also is completing work to define a vision for an extensive trail network that will interconnect the entire Township. The Township building and many of our parks also are located adjacent to the Chester Valley Trail. This trail, undergoing improvements by Chester County, will serve as the center of an extensive county-wide trail network. Upon completion, the trail will provide bicycle access to Philadelphia and connect the Township with other trail systems near Downingtown.
East Whiteland also sponsors several recreational events for residents of all ages as well as a summer recreation program at its township parks.
A number of park improvements have been proposed for three Township recreational facilities.
