Ecology Park is located across the street from the Township Municipal Building and between Mill Lane, Route 202 on Route 401 (Conestoga Road). Supervisors dedicated the park, which opened in 1998, as part of the Year 2000 Earth Day celebration.
Designed as a passive recreational facility, Ecology Park exhibits various ecosystems that exist along a stream corridor. A 4-foot wide, stone dust pathway system meanders through existing woodlands and a wildflower meadow near Route 401 (Conestoga Road). A wooden boardwalk offers an elevated view of the park’s surrounding wetland habitat.
Ecology Park also has a picnic grove with several picnic tables and pedestal grills.
A paved, handicapped parking area provides easy access to all citizens.
