 Fire Marshals

The staff of the Department of Codes & Life Safety enforces all of the provisions of the adopted Fire Prevention Code. The department receives applications and fees; it then issues permits in accordance with the Fire Prevention Code.

The Fire Marshal’s staff inspects premises for which such permits have been issued for compliance with the Code. The Fire Marshal staff is also responsible for investigating the origin and cause of fires in the township.

Township residents are reminded that in accordance with Township Ordinance and Pennsylvania Clean Air regulations, no open burning is permitted in the township.
