Emergency Medical Services

Basic Life Support

The East Whiteland Volunteer Fire Association, with mutual aid provided by the Malvern, Paoli and West Whiteland fire companies, serves East Whiteland Township. East Whiteland Township provides State Certified Firefighter/EMTs to supplement the day-to-day operations within the Township.

These Firefighter/EMTs assist the volunteer firefighters to provide quality fire, rescue and emergency, basic life support medical services to our community.

Advanced Life Support

Malvern Fire Company EMS provides basic, intermediate and advanced life support services to Malvern Borough and parts of Willistown Township, East Whiteland Township, East Goshen Township and Tredyffrin Townships. Their dedicated and well-trained volunteer and career personnel allow them to maintain this coverage for the citizens we protect.

Currently they operate 2 ambulances, 3 medic responder units, an intermediate responder unit, squad and strike team trailer. Their medic responder units allow them to assist surrounding ambulance services when they are in need of advance life support services. All of these units are licensed with the PA Department of Health and carry a multitude of equipment to be prepared for any type of emergency.
