1. Administration

    There are several departments that have been created to assist in the administration of the day-to-day affairs of the Township. These departments are: Finance, Planning & Development and Public Works. The directors of each of these departments are hired by and are under the direct supervision of the Township Manager.

  2. Codes & Life Safety

    The Department of Codes and Life Safety is responsible for the Health, Safety and Welfare of the community and our visitors. This is achieved through the administration and enforcement of the Building, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Property Maintenance and Fire Protection Codes. Also, the department administers and enforces the East Whiteland Township Zoning Ordinance.

  3. Finance

    East Whiteland Township's Finance Department is responsible for the collection, recording and investment of all revenues due to the Township from all sources as well as the disbursement of funds in compliance with the annual budget, as approved by the Board of Supervisors.

  4. Planning & Development

    East Whiteland's Planning & Development Department manages all township land development and subdivision applications. As well as updates the township comprehensive plan.

  5. Police Department

    The East Whiteland Township Police Department is committed to providing protection and services within the Township on a 24 hour-a-day basis with strong emphasis on community awareness.

  6. Public Works

    The East Whiteland Public Works department prides itself on the idea of preventative maintenance. Residents’ cooperation is essential to the effectiveness of the department.
